Pricing Information For Infrared Heating
Finance
We accept payment by most card types and, as with any heating system, finance arrangements can usually be made. Please contact us if you wish to discuss the various options.
Pricing
This is a little harder to summarise, as there is a good range of infrared heaters available - from basic stand-alone units to large glass panels or elaborate picture panels. In addition, your room sizes will determine the heater size required.
Traditional heater manufacturers would have you focus on the purchase price but if we were to do this it would disregard one major benefit – being the ongoing cost and energy savings. You can maybe make a comparison with energy saving light bulbs – they’re a little more expensive to purchase but cost far less to run and last much longer.
No Redwell heater has yet failed post manufacture, so there should be no maintenance costs and we believe the possible life expectancy to be 130 years.
Cost Example
This example uses a heater costing £300 +VAT, with annual running costs of £50. Compare this with an electric convection heater costing £30 – with annual running costs of £150 (and lasting only a few years!).
Based on a bathroom in a typical brick built house - we would allow 25 Watts per cubic metre (m3) for Redwell heaters.
Example room volume = 2.5m x 2m x 2.4m = 12m3
12m x 25W = 300 Watts Total heating requirement for Redwell heaters.
A 350 Watt 'Smallround' panel will heat this space very effectively.
We would expect this to consume less than 500kWh (kWh) of energy per year to fill this room with cosy warmth 24 hours a day. This would cost £50 per year to run or £4.17 per calendar month at an electricity rate of 10 pence per kWh.
Heating this space effectively with an electric convection heater would require 1000Watts or more, costing nearly 3 times as much and it would also be unsightly and need replacing in a few years, unlike a Redwell panel.
With Redwell products there are NO servicing costs, NO maintenance costs and a 5 year guarantee.
The 350Watt Smallround panel costs around £300 + VAT and carriage.
Thermostats start from £24 each.
Quotation requirements
To supply costs, we need to know about the space to be heated. We can either arrange for one of our representatives to visit and gather this information (you are under no obligation whatsoever) or, you can tell us the size of each room and a general idea of the type of construction of the property.
If you wish to find out more about the cost options or, would like to arrange for us to visit, please contact us at info@greenenergyinnovations.co.uk.
